The goal of self-care is to gain CAPACITY to effectively adapt to change. To not just survive these strange times but to carve out a life you actually like living.

What comes to your mind if you hear the term self-care? Is it a woman lathering some special cream to her face? Is it taking some much-needed rest when you are completely burnt out? Maybe exercising, hiking in nature, staying in contact with loved ones? Is it reading a self-help book? Eating healthy?

Well, yes. This might be something that fills your cup and leave you feeling rejuvenated.

BUT it is so important to understand who you are and what makes you feel alive. What gives you more capacity to feel calm, to be in the moment, to feel light and be able to respond to circumstances in a logical manner.

For this reason, I want to encourage you to carve out some time this week to explore what self-care means to you. What do you need to put into place to make you feel more you?
